Harkness Teamwork Materials

After learning and practicing soft skills, we put students into “Teams” of four. They develop team names, norms for their teams and  work together on tasks designed to have them work collaboratively.  They learn and practice the skills of Harkness in “Teamwork”. When the teacher feels that the class can consistently demonstrate these Harkness skills in Teamwork, the class is invited to the “Harkness Table.” There are links here for roles in Teamwork, card games to practice Harkness skills, texts and activities that can be done in Teamwork.
